Antics@play

Context

Antics@play is a advertising/branding/pr agency. I was hired as a graphic designer at Antics@play.

At Antics@play, I work across a wide range of creative projects, from designing social media content and ad materials to producing videos and events. I also contribute to print and UI/UX design, support event visuals, and help maintain the company website. On the branding and campaign front, I’ve been involved in ideation and pitching new concepts. For video projects, I often took the lead from pre- to post-production, managing the process end-to-end and getting hands-on with producing and editing when needed.

iHerb Campaign

To boost engagement with iHerb’s mobile app, we developed
a series of videos designed to highlight its convenience
and features.

Challenge

The brief was to create a standout video, and my creative director suggested using humor to connect with the audience in an otherwise serious category. To make it memorable, we took an abstract approach. I proposed a Wes Anderson-inspired art direction, handled the animation design, and led the motion execution. The client was very pleased with the final outcome — so much so that their global teams took notice and expressed interest in adopting the same creative direction for their future campaigns across the global region.

Cannon I Am Kyosei Campaign

Canon recognized the need to inspire Gen Z to engage with their brand, as their existing audience primarily consisted of older generations.

Challenge

Kyosei is about shaping the future together — creating, sharing, and growing as one. At Canon, we believe in harmony through creativity, where everyone plays a part in building what comes next. The brief was to create a campaign to connect with Gen Z and inspire them to pick up Cannon’s camera and start dreaming and creating more. We turned their philosophy into these videos paired with OOH and digital media buys as well as led them to the campaign’s site.

Schroders' 50th Anniversary

Challenge

Schroders has been a long-term client of the company, and I was tasked with creating an exhibition gallery for their 50th anniversary celebration.

The brief was to showcase the brand’s key milestones, awards, and achievements through both physical and digital media. In addition to designing the overall layout and visual materials, I liaised with vendors to coordinate the production and display equipment, and I created all the animations featured in the exhibition. From setup to teardown, I was involved throughout the two-day event.

The exhibition was showcased at several locations before culminating at the Singapore Supreme Court for the gala night.

Schroders' Year End Event

Challenge

Each year, Schroders hosts a year-end networking and hospitality event. The celebration features a private theatre experience, where they book out all seats at Wild Rice. Before the play begins, guests enjoy a two-hour networking session. An opportunity for Schroders to wine, dine, and connect with their stakeholders, partners, and collaborators. The brief was to custom-tailor the event to align with the theme of the play(Wizard of Oz). This included securing the venue, designing the overall experience, and ensuring a smooth transition from dinner to the performance. Every detail had to contribute to a seamless and memorable evening — one that would leave a strong impression on all attendees.

I designed all the event collaterals — from ticket holders and spatial graphics to on-screen animations for the projector and LED walls. I also coordinated closely with our third-party event organiser to ensure everything stayed on track. Together, we produced character standees, directional signage, queue pole end caps, menu tent cards, props, photo backdrops and a registration backdrop to bring the event experience to life.

Schroders Raya Green Packet

Challenge

For Schroders’ Green Packet 2025, the goal was to continue the brand’s ongoing series celebrating traditional Malay games. Having explored different cultural motifs in previous years, I chose sepak takraw as the central theme — a game rich in movement, rhythm, and cultural pride. The challenge was to reinterpret this familiar sport through a lens of elegance and sophistication, aligning with the client’s taste for luxury. To achieve this, I used intricate linework paired with gold foiling to elevate the design while keeping it visually balanced and legible. Sustainability was also key — every material and print process was selected with environmental responsibility in mind, reflecting the brand’s commitment to purposeful design.

Web design & management

Challenge

At Antics@play, I was given the responsibility of designing and managing the company website. Web development wasn’t my main discipline, but with prior experience and a hands-on approach, I took on the challenge with confidence. After the site launch, I was brought into a new project — the rebranding and redesign of HomeTeamNS’s sub-brand, Aqua Adventure. It wasn’t a fresh start; a previous attempt had failed to gain approval, and the deadline was fast approaching to match HomeTeamNS’s official rebrand reveal. I had to move quickly, refining the direction and design to align with both brand and client expectations. The new concept was approved on first submission, and we brought it live within a month — a satisfying finish to a high-pressure, high-stakes brief.
