Overview
At Goodman, the team is lean hence i had to wear multiple hats at a time most times. This resulted in me levelling up fast and this place taught me my foundations to videography.
Challenge
Everyone has their own take on what makes a video “cool.” Mixing everyone’s ideas is the easy part—but in my experience, what often gets overlooked is how those ideas are actually executed. Big concepts are exciting, but the real question is whether the budget and timeline can support them enough to make them work.
Solution
That’s where my strength lies in video production—bridging the gap between big ideas and real-world execution. I manage both the dreamers and the details, making sure those visions actually come to life. I also handle negotiations with clients and vendors to keep things fair on all sides. And when budgets get tight, I’m not afraid to get hands-on and take on multiple roles to get the job done.
These are the places where customers interact with the videos, such as the website, social media, retail environments, OOH advertising spots. Each touchpoint should provide a consistent and coherent brand experience. The ease and satisfaction with which customers can interact with the brand’s video. Good understanding of the campaign’s objective is crucial in videography. Sometimes we need to sacrifice trying to achieve a “all-in-one” answer. Rather focus on the priorities, be it to attract, inform, convert or engage. More than anything, it’s really about connecting with the audience on a more meaningful level. Not to forget the beautiful dance of juggling budget and the vision.
